And next I'll want the matching blue Ford Performance valve covers. It never ends...
I just ordered these over the weekend, they are waiting for me to get home :D

Haven't noticed any sound difference. Did it mainly because OEM filter was chock full of crap, and this is re-usable.

Shipping was to the Austin TX area.
Cheapest shipping was $25
I ended up ordering one from AM
Wow. Crazy that they charge more to ship to TX than to an APO. Is what it is. Ended up with one from AM anyway. Very satisfied.

Lethal Performance has it as well:
https://www.lethalperformance.com/a...ax-non-oiled-replacement-air-filter-blue.html

I've had this on my car for quite a while, and it is due for a clean. Does anyone use the special cleaning solution, or do people use a mild detergent and water, or simply rinse with water?

Never had a washable filter before.

They only make cleaning kits for the blue-oiled version. The directions say to use a mild detergent, like dishwashing soap, and let it air dry thoroughly. If you saved your last OEM filter, you can use it to plug the hole while this one is drying.

Haven't used it, but it does exist. "For dry synthetic Air Raid filters"...

Good idea on saving the last OEM...

Red Filter

FYI, the part number for the red filter is 861-399 (for those of us with black cars looks best IMO).

And this is identical to the blue filter?
