Airaid performance filter wires

Just giving a heads up here. You may want to check your filters.
Just doing some routine checks before a trip this weekend. Bought the Airaid filter and was installed around 300 miles. I now have just shy of 5K miles.
Doing an inspection before a cleaning and noticed this. The wire was actually woven into the wire mesh that is part of the filter. The wire appears to be the same diameter as the mesh itself but does not have the same sheen. The foreign wire is very shiny and the filter mesh wire appears to be a much darker grey.
I believe there was no way this was getting sucked into the intake but still slightly concerning.

Just cleaned mine yesterday, no issues. Good catch.

I never noticed upon initial install, I know I inspected it. The wire can disappear between pleats quite easily.
