Ford of Montebello was kind enough to let me know their 2016 GT350R arrived and is available at $142,345.00...
You should let them know, they shouldn't be calling anyone, because if it's priced like that, it should have no problems selling itself!

I admit, I paid ADM. I wanted the car, didn't want to travel or ship. My dealer only got 2. It bought me a car. It didn't buy any loyalty to the dealer and so far, I have only had warranty work done by the dealer. All my upgrades and maintenance parts have been bought online. The dealer had a car show recently and my car was not there. I got what I paid for and so did the dealer. The whole ADM and cooler issue has not helped with my overall bad feeling toward Ford but I like my car. I just no longer bleed Ford blue.

Thers a surplus of 2016 in St Louis right now between Bommarito Ford having 4 and Dave Sinclair with 6. You can negotiate a great deal on St Louis area.
You may be right. However, when I spoke with Bommarito, and Sinclair as recently as a month ago, they were not budging. Bommarito was charging $7,500 over, and I can't remember how much Sinclair wanted but it wasn't msrp. Then, there's Auffenberg in Belleville IL that has a RR tech sitting there since around January or March and still wanting 67k.

Think of it this way... Even at $5k over MSRP, a 2016 GT350 with Track Pack (or a 2017 base GT350) is still more than $3k less than an apples-to-apples 1LT Z51 Corvette Manual with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Competition Seats. (I'm picky about seats.) And I can't take both of my kids to summer cruise-ins in the Corvette like I can in the Shelby. Oh, and I won't see six other GT350's at that cruise-in either, like I would with a Corvette. :)

Yeah, i cannot believe how many salesman don't know that they cant get an R model from a standard 350 allocation.... BY NOW!!!
I wish my job was so easy i didnt need to know what was going on and still be able to keep it.
With all that nonsense said, i did make a call into a place that told me "you can either have a 350 or 350 R ordered, your choice." It was the only one that was actually true that said it that way. I ordered the R of course!

Nice, best I have found was +2500 which isn't to bad imo. I may need to start searching again to see if I can find a 0 ADM allocation.
EF300, there is nothing wrong with 2500 and nothing to be ashamed of, for sure. 10k on a 350 is something i would feel uncomfortable with...or 25k on an R.
We all have our limits on what we think these cars are worth, personally, and it sounds like you were well into what your comfort level is/was. If i hear or see anything else, ill let you know...but then it would be another long wait.

I would pay $2,500 if it was a dealer very close to me. In my haste, I was just focused on MSRP, and getting an allocation. In the end, I'm basically paying ~$2k ADM because of the shipping/driving costs. It's great to say you got it for MSRP, but it's kind of a sham if you have to pay a thousand or two in shipping costs.

Have them drop shipped to a local dealer. May need to pay the receiving dealer a fee but its only 400 to 500 max.

What is the setup process for delivery? Do I need to negotiate the fee or does it happen when my dealer inputs the final destination? I have them the address for the local dealership but they aren't 100% on the details.
I need to get off the board and stop obsessing about the car!!

A courtesy delivery form the ordering dealership to a dealership near you has to be set up at the time the order is placed. If the order gets scheduled for a build and the courtesy delivery was not set up you are SOL.

Here is what you do:

Call local ford dealers by you and ask to speak with the person in charge of courtesy delivery. (Some dealerships don't offer courtesy delivery.)

Ask what the fee is, typically $300-$400 in my experience and you can save a bit by shopping around and comparing your local dealerships fees. Make sure they know that they will have to install the front splitter as part of the delivery. In my case this raised the price by $80 so $ 380 total.

Give the dealer you ordered from the contact info of the human in charge of courtesy delivery at the dealership you have selected for delivery. The sales managers of the two dealerships or the two GM's (in my case) generally have to talk speak to each other and agree to do a courtesy delivery.

Once the two dealerships agree, your salesman can change the destination of your car with ford to the local dealer you selected.

Again it is of paramount importance that this be done when the car is initially ordered. It seems that once a car is scheduled ford is very reluctant to change the shipping details.

Good luck

Or, give your zip code to your selling dealer and let them contact a close by dealer and do the negotiating.

Nope, 2017 is the last year for the current model GT350 as well as the S550
The S550 is expected to be refreshed in 2018 but will continue to 2020 if unconfirmed reports about the 7th generation car are to be believed.
