But not ALL dealers are out of touch. On 4/15 I wandered into a smaller Ford dealer up north while my friend was having his Subaru serviced nearby – and got my deal in writing for the only 2017 ‘R’ they’ve been allocated – at MSRP – Sold!

When asked of the owner of that dealership why he sold to me at MSRP, he responded, “Unlike most dealers, I want to get the cars into the customers' hands ASAP. The quicker I move the cars, the more are allocated to me. That's what Ford wants us to do.”

Before walking into that dealership I was certain that an 'R' could never be had for MSRP - So, they ARE out there.
Just got back from placing an order for a '17 GT350 at MSRP. Took less searching than I was prepared for. :)
Fortunately, I will not have to deal with it :D

OUTSTANDING YET AGAIN! Another glimmer of hope for the rest of us. I'm crossing my fingers that the ADM tides have turned :ford:
Hope you're right! It certainly seems like more and more of you guys are scoring MSRP deals. I've been hoping to nail down an MSRP deal on a '17 GT350 for a bit now so hopefully some luck comes my way. Congratulations fellas.

I could be wrong but this is starting out exactly the same way as in the 2016MY when many MSRP deals were done early on and congratulations to all that have done that so for regarding the 2017MY cars.

Having said that as the 2016 MY closes and the 2017MY gets into full swing watch the supply and demand issue kick in especially on the 920A R models.

I clearly remember watching last June and July when many early allocations were given out how the early birds did very well and then as time went on things took a dramatic turn.

For everyone out there looking for an MSRP I hope that I am wrong and that the 2017MY will be a different story on regular GT350's but don't count on it for the 920A cars except for a few exceptions.

Good luck everyone!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just got offered a 2017 GT350R allocation for $25k ADM.

FWIW, my initial reaction is I would do $75k - $80k, but not $92k.

Thoughts?

Again I think the MY16's will be your best chance at a MSRP deal right now. Only because of the packaging on the 17's. You can essentially get a tech with Recaro's and TrackPack coolers. Dealers will want to push those 16's at this point with the 17's and better packaging starting production in June. I think your ADMs will head right back up on the 17's,,,, just MHO,,,

My opinion, if I could get the dealer to keep an "R" under $90k ,,,,,,, I'm in. But I'd hold firm on that #, just me though.

too rich for my blood. 10k over would be my limit and that would only be acceptable if it was a dealer down the street. Needless to say I likely wont be getting an R anytime soon

I think your instincts are spot on.

MSRP deals are pretty rare and market seems to be around that $25K ADM mark. I personally could not stomach that but up to $15K over is a good buy at current selling prices.

I set my limit for a R at $80,000 out the door. Couldn't find one obviously. It's what you're comfortable with, 80 was my personal limit.

Found: 2 x 2016 GT350R's with $20K ADM's attached.

Found: "several" GT350's on the ground at the same dealer. They are looking for $5K ADM but my guess would be they will negotiate.

I am unclear as to packages and colors.

If interested PM me for dealer contact details.

I need to wait. I just can justify an additional $20k for an R right now. :(

This is the logic that would kill this thread!! Good for you, you are reasonable with and understand the ADM, but have a $ that your comfortable with and acceptable to you. I truly hope you find one at your price and terms.

Purchased a 16 GT350 Tech Pack today for MSRP from Al Packer Ford in White Marsh, MD. It's not hard to find an MSRP or less deal. You just need to look. For all those who paid ADM. Thanks for overpaying to keep me in positive equity on my purchase longer!

I went to a local dealer this afternoon. The dealer started at $20k ADM on a black 2016 GT350 track pack. I told them straight off I was only wiling to do MSRP at the most. They went down to $7,500 without any negotiation. I think they were hoping I would counter offer. I didn't. If you're willing to pay over MSRP I'm sure they would take $3k.

If ADM's for '17's stay up or go higher, I will not get one. Much as I would like one for this track season, the ADM is not worth it to me. Nothing truly compares to the GT350, but only at MSRP or less for me. It is this kind of customer treatment that has driven me away from American cars for many years.
