You guys are so much more considerate of your significant others opinion than I am.
In my experience with marriage (10 years this fall to the same woman), it is a partnership. Yes, I have my money and she has her money, but we're still a married couple. Did she say anything when I bought a new $1,000 laptop a few months ago? Not a word. A $60,000 car is another story though.

That being said, if I came home tonight with a GT350 and a new $800/month car payment, I'm sure she wouldn't divorce me, but I'd wager that things would be more tense in our relationship for a little while.

What happened to the ADM resentments

I would be happier than a pig in slop if things work out that way. Spring 2017 is my target window for getting a GT350 if I can come to a concrete decision about buying one. I would want to put at least $10k down on it, but doing so means that I would have to come to a complete stop on all mods/upgrades for my GT. For example, a set of new wheels and tires would be around $2k alone, which is a big chunk of change. I really need to decide quickly if my ultimate goal is to A) buy a GT350 or B) add a supercharger to my GT.
If your budget is that tight, your ultimate goal should be to buy a piece of income property and not a depreciating asset like an additional car, as cool as this thing is. JMO obviously.

Because of the cost, I had a conversation with my wife.
it was about 5 minutes, she asked one or two questions,
that was it. I am lucky she loves the Mustang and all the fun we have it.
This car she fell in love the day it arrived. Our 2nd drive, about an hour out,
I thought I would turn the radio on for her, 1-2 minutes later she turned it off.
Cars sound to good to listen to radio was her response.
Now you gotta love that :)

Ouch....some of these dealers are brutal. Been trying find a dealer willing to let me order MY17 GT350 and they're all asking 15k-24k over. Ouch.

sigh...the search continues

For an R or regular GT350? From my research I actually think WA is just as bad or worse than CA.

But, we have already seen postings at $5K over in other regions:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50801
I'm just looking for a GT350 - not an R (although I would be super tempted at the right oppty). I found one who quoted me 15k ADM another wants 24k for a non-r! Mind blowing. Told me They're buying other dealers' allocations and reselling them. ugh.....I want to rage, but wont for fear of burning a bridge.

What are you looking for? My dealer has a couple inbound that I bet are much cheaper than that.

I really want a Ruby Red with black roof and convenience package. Been drooling over those since they released the 2017 pics

2011 Raptor, 2017 GT350 on order
Wives - love the comments. My wife was not happy at all when I ordered my Raptor in late 2010. Now she loves that truck more than I do - and I REALLY love it. When I told her it was time for the GT350, she was helping me contact dealers. For the MY16's, the ADM's we were quoted ranged from 10k to 25K for just a 350, not an R. Because of another member here on the forum, I have now ordered a MY17 with an ADM of $2,500. I, and my wife, can both live with that.

And holy hell have the Raptor's held their value. As much as ADMs are painful the Raptor is a pretty good example of how buying a rare vehicle can really mitigate typical depreciation.
