I got the same call yesterday, but from Capital Ford...
$78,345.00 for this Tech Pack:

Both dealers near me have had tech pack Avalanche gray/blk OTT cars sitting on their lots for 3-4 months now. lol. Maybe not surprising. If you only got ONE allocation, it would be smart to put an insane ADM on it so it won't sell. It is a great draw for other customers. Smart marketing, and well worth sitting on it till the last moment.

Oh hell no. I never really got the chance to look at the colors very closely, so I went to them to see how Mag looked. It'll be interesting to see the actual Shelby in Mag though.

Funny thing, one of the workers passed me said that EcoBoosts was where it's at, to which I replied: wrong, it's the Shelby. He scoffed and said that it's a $100k car. :shrug:

I used those guys to test drive the standard GT for both my wife and I to get a sense of the car, basically. Then took a look at the other assorted cars to get a feel for the colors. I'm a "blue" guy, so that pretty much got me into the DIB. They had a DIB GT on the lot, so I kinda knew what to expect. The one color I was on the fence with was the AG... which no other FORD car uses. Didn't know what to expect, so I went with DIB.

fast forward... I saw furius's AG GT350 R in person... CRAP!!! :doh: ;)

2017... Lightning Blue would be in my garage! AG #2 and '16 DIB #3

tech pack(white) in Murphy North Carolina hit the floor yesterday. They did not know what they wanted for it yet....i offered 1$ under sticker and they said no.

I saw an AG for the first time yesterday in Palo Alto as I was driving by, wasn't feeling it too much. Maybe its better in R form lol

So when a dealer adds ADM, and it sticks around the place for months. And months. And Months, pretty soon the floor plan eats up the ADM, no? Measured greed, but I don't know why a smaller dealer does this. Get the car, sell the car, make a profit.

Bottom line is ADM works, and that is why it exists. Just like beanie babies.

^^^And while the GT 350 is sitting on the showroom floor, dozens of people come in and look at it and dream about it - and then buy a lesser Mustang, a Fusion, an Escort or an Explorer.

Floor plan is about 250 per month so they would have to have it for months for it to hurt them....

Stopped by Ken Grody Ford today. They have 10 GT350's on the lot in all colors, mostly tech packs, with a 25k ADM

Also got a call back from a local dealer in California's Central Valley for a 16 GT350 track package, white/blue stripes. 67k is what I was told. PM me if you care and I will send you the dealer info/contact person.
