Here is one for you all, on this past Monday I got a call from my dealer. Good and bad news. Good news is that my order has shipped from factory and will be here in California at dealer ETA is 3/25-3/26, bad news is that they said they are not going to honor the price set when I ordered the car in Sept'2015. The salesman said they have a new GM and he is adding ADMs to the price. They added 25k to the one they had in stock, it sold and so they are now adding a ADM to mine.

I have never been so pissed off at any individual in my life....needless to say, stay away from these dealers, they suck!
same with me signed , deposit, order, in February 2500 over MSRP.
the people at the dealer ship were great. but the owner checked the books first of march and NO NO NO won't go. it got so bad i received a letter in the mail from his lawyer stating "No Contract" returned 2500 deposit but if i want to renegotiate they would be willing to talk to me
checked with a local lawyer about taking him to court, bottom line 15k to get to court, one year of court proceedings. might not win. not worth the trouble

The no ADM might be what people "want" for the 350 and willing to pay adm for the R, unfortunately that just doesn't match reality. What you perceive to be cars on websites going for msrp is hardly the case. I found my deal at msrp purely by accident looking for a 2017. My best friend paid 5k over today.

I don't know why you're saying that (beyond wishful thinking), but buyers all over the country are still paying substantial ADMs for GT 350s.
A fool and his money are soon parted :tsk:

There may be 5000 people that will pay ADM but I hope that next year they wont. I would love to own one but WILL NOT PAY ADM. I could afford it but no way I will.

ADM is the result of basic supply and demand economics. Price increases in direct proportion to an increase in demand and shorter supply of product. A hot car with a lot of us wanting it and so few cars to go around means higher prices. Price increases artificially too with barriers to entry (like shipping costs to Hawaii and Pto Rico), high taxes, and what everyone is complaining about, price collusion amongst dealers that have allocations. For antitrust reasons, Ford can't and won't mess with the greedy dealers that are price gouging. So, it's up to us as consumers whether to buy or not.

As for me, I certainly paid a premium to finally get in Pto Rico my GT350 2016 track pak triple yellow black roof, probably the only one with those specs here. While I paid much less than another next guy who took home a white/blue stripes GT350, I certainly paid much more than most of you guys for the same car in different parts of the country.

As for the car, it was my lifelong dream, and I love it, even if the only music I hear comes from that engine...man oh man.

Once production hits full steam ADM's will start to disappear...or at least go down substantially. When I do a search the dealers keeping the 350 are the ones with 10 and 20k markups. No way would I pay that for a regular 350...no way. People are either dumb or don't realize there will be loads more coming...like in the tune of 8000 more before it's said and done. A short released car, but to say it's rare and commands a 10k adm is not true. Sure, people want it...but not for 65k. Not me and not a lot of people. The ones that do have limited time on this earth or have money falling out of their pockets....

So what facts are you basing any of that off of? Based on what they've built up to the first of march it'll be around 5000 350's and the 500 R's. Production is as full steam as we will see I believe considering production ends in a touch over 2 months.

What? You do know they are making a 17 MY too don't you? 4 to 5 thousands units per year and 500 Rs a year. In 15 they made 100 gt350s and 37 Rs. I'd expect the total number to be around 9,000 to 11000 gt350s and 1100 Rs. Won't know until we get there but I'd expect the numbers to be extremely close.

Yes I am aware I had a msrp allocation for a 16 and 17. The fact is the production run for the 16 is almost over and the prices are still strong especially for the track package cars which are still extremely low production when compared to the track package cars. So doubt you'll see many at msrp any time soon and if you do it'll likely be a base or tech. As far as 17 it'll likely be the end of the road and nobody has any allocation info or realistic guess as to production. 10k is still a pretty limited run for a vehicle when you start comparing production numbers of other 50-60k dollar performance vehicles. Bottom line is the ADM is still there and it'll be back for 2017 I'd bank on that.

There are and will be only 48 triple yellow 2016 GT350's for 2016. Check the facts. I'm happy to own and be able to own one. No car should be an "investment" but I like driving the one I love and to add cream to the top, has that potential.
