The double-standards are strong here. Someone suggests (not the first person to suggest it) that consumers band together in order to drive the price of a product down...meanwhile, if all of these dealers banded together to have a common price, these same folks would have an aneurysm...(and it would be illegal).

The dealers have pretty much banded together, in case you didn't notice. That's why they all are asking adm for the most part. There are plenty of buyers that thought they were getting cars at sticker only to find out the dealer jacked the price after seeing what some other dealers were getting. Consumers could very well drive these prices down, but many of you are too busy justifying why $10-$20k over is perfectly fine.

Sounds to me like sour grapes....

If I can't afford to pay the ADM it has to be someone else's fault, someone else is to blame.

So tired of people always needing to blame others for their issues. If you really want the car that bad why don't you bust your ass and work to pull together the money you need to buy it? Or if you are so against the ADM, don't buy the car and instead get something else? Telling people that they are stupid for spending their own money how they see fit is rude, and doing it on the internet is cowardly.

This combination is by far one of the under appreciated ones. If i had of been lucky enough to come across an R its exactly how i would have spec'd it. The red pinstripe totally makes it.

No, I didn't notice. All I see are many dealers doing the business they are good at which is recognizing market value and selling products at those prices. If they all banded together, everyone's prices would be identacle. There are more examples to prove your assumption wrong rather than correct, as prices are all over the place. Plenty of people here bought cars for MSRP and didn't get hosed by dealers.

dron_jones you are totally feelin me. I was so sure the R with the black top and black stripe was the one until i saw that picture of the lady driving one with the white stripe. It is not the most manliest but with the white top and yes red pin stripe does set it off, it will be timeless. thanks man

Just when I start making my decision to lean toward the Shelby even got up close and personal w one at the dealer today . Ready for next year allocation he says both this 16 and 17 are going 20 k over ? Seriously .... Someone tell me where else

Are you in LA as in Los Angeles? or Louisiana? Los Angeles is probably the worst place in the country to find a car close to sticker. You're going to have to go to middle California or out of state to find a good buy IMHO.

The good news is you don't have to pay anywhere near $20k over unless you want an R model.

I know this is not the best deal by far but I have 7 GT350 available for under $10k over for forum members. Only makes it easy for being so close.

But there are (some) MSRP deals out there and plenty at $5k or less over sticker if you call around.
