the 16 "Maro" will have a blown 6.2 or blown 4 banger. They may tweak that 6.2 to have more HP than the Hellcat. Let the muscle wars begin....

I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hard Rock (that's a mouthful) last week and the dealership was pulling a Jazz Blue Pearlcoat Charger Hellcat into the showroom. The color looked great, but I'm still not a Charger fan.

My salesman was telling me that they sold 6 Hellcats so far, for $90-95k each! This one in particular was going to be listed for $129,999.

Why is this one so expensive? It was special ordered by Vernon Davis of the SF 49ers and he backed out, but agreed to come sign the car for the buyer. I verified the window sticker said "This vehicle was built especially for VERNON DAVIS".... That's an expensive window sticker and signature upcharge if you ask me.:crazy:

The butthurt over on Camaro5 over this car is absolutely stupendous.

What is entertaining to me is how the story keeps changing with that clown Medisin and a few others.

"The Hellcat is a high 11/low 12 second car"

Then the Hellcats started running low 11 and high 10 second passes

"I guess it's not durable enough it breaks driveshafts lololololol"

So far only one car has shown to be twisting driveshafts..funny how everyone on DR's isnt doing that

Etc etc..

It's impressive really, this eclipses when the 5.8 Trinity GT500 came out.

Camaro owners find an excuse for everything :headbonk:

So i had to go to the mall to pick up some last minute items for my spring break vacation. When i was walking back to my stang, i found a kitty cat right next to it :) Looked very nice!

I got a ride along in one, definitely not a toy. It felt just as seat of the pants powerful as the 2013-'14 GT500's.

I still love the classic body style and the interior is the most spacious by far. I'm not sure what it runs in the 1/4 but it felt like 125 came pretty quick.

I like the Hellcat. Look how big it looks next to the S550? DAMN...

One just laid down 705RWHP with just a tune... :clap2:
Yep! I think I read that on SVTP. Strong cars, for sure. I think they hit a home run with the Hellcat. This would've been my 3rd choice behind my S550 and 2013 E92 BWM M3.

I can't get over how amazingly well Chrysler polished up the Challenger. The refreshed models look KILLER on the road and this Hellcat in particular looks menacing as all hell. The pre-facelifts never did anything for me, they were just missing that last bit of needed detailing.

That's a GTFO face if I've ever seen one.

I went and examined the Challenger Scatpac over the weekend. Base price with Auto and HID is just over $41K. About $6K more than comparable Mustang. According to reviews the Scatpack will be a little faster 0-60. Forget it on the track compared to the Mustang. The Mustang even beats the HellCat on the track.
- Even though the Mustang and the Challenger are the same width, sitting in the car the Challenger hood feels/looks a lot wider because of how boxy it is.
- The front seats and cabin feel more comfortable and wider, but you are sitting up in the cabin compared to sitting down in the Mustang. Not sure if that's a good thing for performance but feels more comfortable.
- The rear seats are usable for the average person without feeling too cramped.
- Forget about folding down the rear seats. The built in headrests force you to put the front seats 3/4 to all the way forward. This is a big factor for me since I leave my rear seats down for my dog. I'd have to buy the $250 rear seat delete which actually looks pretty good, and someone could still technically sit in them.
- Mustang wins for overall quality. The Challenger isn't bad but the Mustang quality overall is better IMO.
- I like the look of the Challenger but man this car feels big sitting in it. I will test drive it soon.

To sum it up...I was glad to get back in my mustang.

These do come with panel fitment issues as well. If you look at the corner of the hood, you'll see that it sticks up a bit. It is a beautiful car though.
