The Carbon Core / Forgitec

Hey Everyone,

I was asked to come on here as the rep for The Carbon Core and make the announcement that they will officially be changing the company name to Forgitec. This name change will take effect beginning tomorrow, May 29, 2022.

All of the current links posted online for TheCarbonCore.com will still lead to the same website, however, the name will be changed.

The company decided to make this name change after striking multiple partnerships with carbon fiber manufacturing facilities around the world, for example some being in Japan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Germany, and others in order to start producing bigger and better carbon fiber products for lots of different cars like for example the BMW M3 and M4, the Mustangs, and other cars.

This is just a heads up to any existing or any future CarbonCore customers!

You can expect to see tons of new interior and even exterior carbon parts coming over the next few weeks/months.

The new name/link will be Forgitec.com

Jack, can you explain a bit about the Forgitec overlay products. Are the overlays hydro dipped or are they genuine carbon fiber? Thanks so much for your help. Cheers

Of course I can!

Our products are absolutely not hydro-dipped, which is when a piece of usually white plastic is wrapped in a liquid carbon fiber lookalike design, yet is not real carbon fiber.

Our products on the other hand are authentic carbon fiber pieces.

In simplified terms, what we do is make a mold of the factory interior pieces, and then we go ahead and wrap that mold with carbon fiber weave, we add he coatings/laters of clear coat/epoxy or what not, and then once that is dried, we remove the mold from underneath, leaving only a 100% lightweight and super-thin carbon fiber overlay product, which contains absolutely zero plastic.

That is is why when you look at our products from the back side, you can actually see the exposed carbon fiber weave.

Any news on Forgitec? I have sent them numerous emails, but have had no reply. I am wondering if they are out of business?

Same. It shows almost everything as out of stock and I emailed a couple times asking about it with no response.

Yea I would say save your time and money I will say the dash and peices around the screen looked stunning and cover everthing perfectly but the peices by the door had a bad mold and wouldn’t fit right and they never responded shitty customer service for sure or they went out of business. prolly the later seeing as they changed names already once they prolly do this often make bad products then ghost there customers. Edit just went and looked there website isn’t even up anymore for sure shady buisness if they ever come around again hopefully no one buys there crap carbon core forgitec what’s next crap a tech ha ha ha shame cause the the product when molded properly is very nice.

I hate it cause I haven't found anyone else that makes a matte CF dash kit like Forgitec did...and not going to lie, they're prices weren't bad.

If anyone sees a matte CF kid out there that's not crazy expensive, please let me know lol
