Hit the track Saturday for some testing and the stop the hop kit works like a dream. Not one hint of wheel hop. I went from hopping 2.2 60's to a solid hook and 1.6. I hope to drop that a few more tenths.

Very nice! Manual or auto? What was your launch RPM, ET and MPH?

It's an auto A-6 3.15 gear

Not real happy with the MPH but it went 12.66 @110
Before the stop the hop kit best was a 13 flat at 112

Right on! Still on factory tires? I hope to see that kind of sixty (or quicker) in my manual car once I get it to a drag strip.

Yea, factory tires. I was able to hook by stabbing the gas off idle, if I loaded the converter it blew the tires.

Sounds like you’ve got it figured out. I saw your other post about the new CAI you’re going to be testing soon. Hopefully it’ll help your ET and MPH even more.

30 lbs of air, 3 second burnout, just enough to clean the tire, pull into beams leave off idle.

Track was well prepped. It hooked like a drag slick.

Ahhhh yes. America's famous take your tied shoes off your feet prep. Personally I don't like that kinda prep.

The one time I loaded the converter it blew the tires off. Hit 8000 RPM before I was able to let off. It was not glue, just good prep.

That was a 2000 RPM load.

I would post the slip but the second number is larger than 5 so someone will crap on that and call it a 1.7

First time I've seen a 6r80/3.15 car on the stock converter go 1.6s in the sixty.
