JW: I rarely pay attention to BLIS alerts but they don't bother me. That said, I am in total agreement..give me the split mirrors. These days, you pretty much have to buy a decent pickup to get good mirrors.

@kilobravo , my 19’ F-150 Lariat has the BLIS on it because of some packaging of options. I thought I could get used to it, I now find myself having to turn and look as it won’t see a second lane over. On 3 lane interstates I want to see all lanes in my mirrors. I also like the split mirrors on track, I get a much better feel of what’s around me,

I had no problem ordering the tech package for the CFTP. The sum of the weight really isn't a lot. The subwoofer is the anchor and millstone in that package and is easily removed. Its not like getting a base R, the car still has a lot of the items that weigh whether you get the package or not. It really just comes down to cost.
Why blow $3k on the stuff then remove it? The subwoofer belongs in trash and you are stuck with the useless wiring harness. BLIS is trash. The only cool thing in that package is the puddle lights and you only look at them for 10 seconds. The novelty goes away day one. I know because I had them on 2015 Mustang and I don't miss them on my GT350. Give me the split mirrors and $3k in my pocket. On the plus side, they are rarer. ;)

Remove it for a track day.

Put it back in when I'm done.

Its my money and thats how I chose to spend it. A drop in the bucket compared to 10k painted on stripes... but thats another topic of discussion.

The puddle lamps are a must the cobra at night lets u know u have something special the sound system is nice and plays clear you dont need to remove the weight unless u want too the 500 is super fast even when i had a full trunk of track stuff and car cover it still super fast and dont notice the weight I think the tech package was worth it makes the car comfortable when cruising however a few bolts and removing the sub could be done but the 625 pounds of rear torque its hard to feel the difference even with extra weight in the long run the car will be worth more with the goodies
