I've done a few performance mods (Strut brace, Roush Axle back and intake, and Lund tune) but now I want to mod the exterior of my GT but I also want to keep the classic chrome mustang and corral look on the front. I'm thinking Eibach Sportlines and a staggered chrome or silver wheel setup (I've got the LC73 19x8.5 wheels). I also like the Roush front fascia but then I can't keep the corral grille.

What would you do to a 50th appearance package GT?

I would sell me the corral grille for the low price of $3.50 and get that fancy Roush fascia I really wanted.

You could do some hood spear stripes in a silver to match the wheels and accent the hood just a bit, but other than lowering it a bit I don't think I'd go too overboard. A black roof wouldn't stick out too much either and would make it a bit more unique.

On my base model 2015 GT I went with the Ford Cali Special fade stripes to add the look I wanted. Not too drastic yet different. In your case maybe black gloss roof with these black stripes or these stripes in silver since your car is darker. The anniversary wheels in luster nickle are my favorite factory rims available on any S550 and I would leave them on (just my opinion).

MustangJoe84 where'd you get the stripes from? I've thought about it a bit, but don't want to pony up $350-$400 just for hood spears.

This.........my own blackout package. I'm like you as I wanted to not take anything off that was part of the 50th AP.

Nagare, mine are the expensive Ford stripes, but at the time nobody else offered them.
Now a company called AutoMotorStripes.com has them available for a reasonable price and with different colors.

Nagare, Lol :D https://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-50year-chrome-grille-2015.html

W3rkn, who doesn't have a helipad in their neighborhood? Lol, I have a 3 car side entry garage, I have 2 teenagers who park up top, I need all the space I can get.

DarkestHour, We'll do, I drive up 400, 141, and PIB...

MustangJoe84, I might do the Shelby stripes once I get my color scheme.

JohnBoyNC, I might go the black out route, maybe pickup some PP staggered wheels.

anchor room has similar stripes for $50. listed as "roush style hood accents".
Checked it out and those are the solid style, was looking for the faded style.

Will do, thanks.

That looks like the one and not too bad for just the hood spears like I'd want. Are the Ford ones vinyl too or paint? It looks like Vinyl by the way it ends, but can never be too sure. Got a link to them just for kicks?

Appreciate ya guys.

Dude I fuckin know right?! That's why I don't have one so far. I think it's the best looking grille but I still wouldn't pay anywhere near that much for one. Pretty sure I'd top out at like $150 which is why I doubt I'll ever get it lol

The Ford stripes are vinyl. They are available at the parts counter, but like 3 times the cost and are part of the California Special (2016-2017) appearance package.

You gotta get rid of them wheels. PM me your address and I'll come get that scrap metal out of your way.

I really regret not getting the appearance package, but I ordered the day ordering banks opened and there was a lot of confusion and lack of info and photos. Also was being budget consious at the time too. I did trade my tail lights to a guy that did a black out on his car.

I went with hyper silver 19” MRR FS1’s , 275 ups front and 315 in the back. Silver supercharged logos, chrome tipped borla exhaust... now deciding what if anything else I’m going to do. Was considering Roush side scoops but not sold yet and maybe even the Cervini hood... idk.
