I recently purchased a Target Blu Eye Go. It detects the radio signal pulses on the Tetra network. Police, ambulance and fire vehicles and personnel use communication radios that send pings to the Tetra network. The Target Blu Eye Go detects these and provides you with a warning. To be clear, this does not detect fixed cameras nor mobile cameras. It will, however, detect all marked and unmarked vehicles, as well as individuals on the roadside or overpass. It is legal in the UK. I use it along with Waze.

Having used it for a couple of days, it definitely works. The range is good and I find it particular helpful on country roads. You will never be surprised by an unmarked vehicle again. It's expensive, but it definitely works.

damn that aint cheap!
It is a complete rip-off. A top U.S. radar detector is £600. But this thing has no competition in the UK. The old Python is out of business. So, for now they can charge whatever they want. Thankfully, it does actually work well.
