Im installing an Autometer fuel pressure gauge. I need a +12v dash lighting wire, and a switched +12v and ground.

I bet there's one in the illumination dimmer swtich connector.. Anybody got a diagram of that connector?

I would be a huge help. Thanks!

The dimmer switch is only 11.5 volts or so at full light. You want a constant +12v source.
Well, I wanted it for the dimmer function not for switched power.

Its a tiny wire, I stripped a little of the the insulation with a razor blade and sodered my lighting wire to it. The gauge dims correctly. Switched 12v for the sensor and gauge’s stepped motor are tapped from the interior fuse box on gauge cluster fuse. Ground over on the ODB2 plug mount which is grounded to the dash.

Next up is the engine bay stuff. Need to push the sensor plug through the firewall and try to mount the fuel pressor sensor on a line somehow where it wont shake itself apart or strip the threads on the bung.

I taped thru the firewall by drilling a hole behind the battery tray and installed a rubber seal.
