Hello! I am in the process of installing a McLeod RXT clutch, and when I was letting the transmission down, I forgot to connect the tube that leads down to the slave cylinder. It pulled the plastic piece out of the bell housing. I think the metal tube that leads to the slave bearing is fine; it got bent a little, but I was able to mostly put it back into position.

There is also this little silver tab you have to pop out to get the tube off that leads from the transmission to the master cylinder. This little tab went flying.

Can I just go to auto zone and get one of these tabs? I can't find it anywhere.

Also, I looked on fordparts.com and I see the whole slave cylinder for $130 but not just the tube that leads from there to the bell housing up towards the line that goes to the slave cylinder. Is it possible to just call the dealer and order just this part?

Thank you

Also, when I connect the transmission up, I just plug the steel braided clutch line into the transmission, and begin pumping the clutch right?

Does engine need to be on for this?

With brakes, I usually pump brakes, open bleeder line let air out, pump again. Do I do something similar with the clutch or just pump it?

Thank you

My '05 has that set up and you just have to pump it for a while by hand and it will self bleed after a while. Pump slowly at first and be patient. I used to jack up the driver's side of the car to aid in helping the air back up to the master cylinder due to some angles in the hose...not sure on the '15 model year.
