Hello, So I have a Gen 3 mustang that has a on3 single kit 76/75mm Turbo with a .96 AR housing. Looking to push the power to about 1-1100whp what would be the best turbo to go with? my current flange is T4.

Do you have to stay with a T4? If so, I think you could run a 80/88 and get close to that goal. Gen 3 cars need a lot of exhaust flow or you will choke them and get valve float. T6 would be a better choice and there are a lot of turbos that will get you there.

Packaging is an issue with these kits, T6 would definitely be a tight squeeze. The short answer to your question is yes, you can make 1k wheel or more with a T4 kit. If you know how to read a compressor map it will tell you if you can reasonably make it. There are at least 5 that I can think of. I would go with the largest AR possible if you stay T4, with a T6 you could do a smaller AR and be ok.

Do you have any dyno charts of your current setup, and how much boost are you looking to make. Also what fuel and what is your current engine compression? Twins have been known to make around 900+ at 12-13 PSI.

Also do you like the On3 single kit? I haven't seen too many people with it

All solid advice so far. Totally agree. T6 if you can, but will be tight.

That said, twin t4's in .81 housings will make 900+ at 13-14 psi and can be turned up to 13-1400hp pretty easily. This combo sees full boost in the mid-high 4000 rpm range assuming a ~62mm-67mm compressor and 66mm turbine in that .81 housing.

The low mount twins allow you to maintain 100% street car... A/C and all.

I see you asked which turbo, but I say stay T4, I will give you a nice list....

My top pick for you would be the
Borg Warner S476 SX-E 76/82 * its much cheaper than the garrett below and has a lower impeller speed and can flow more especially if you chose the 1.25 AR

Second Place
Garrett G42 1200 C(compact) *all the Garrett are EXPENSIVE, there are others that can do more as well inside the garrett family

my 3rd place choice would be :
Precision Turbo GEN2 PT6870 CEA * No compressor maps, so I can't say how well it would do. there are others worth looking at as well if you can stomach asking for all these compressor maps.

4th would be the china special
VS Racing 7875 Billet T51R in 1.25 AR *No compressor map, but it's a copy of the Borg above with a slightly different wheel. What I like is that it's so cheap you can buy 3 of these to experiment with compared to the Borg. They also make a 73mm/G42 Billet Ball Bearing which is a copy of the G42 above, also can be had in 1.25 AR

5th would be the
Xona Rotor 11569S X4C * it's down here because no compressor map and it would require either a flange change and it's expensive. you an go T6 for less but won't beat this packaging.

is that a BL fab kit or you did you retrofit a T6 to the On3 kit. I think it is an On3, where are you running your exhaust?
Custom kit. Exhaust will run between the engine and k member. Ac lines are getting rerouted.
