Sync3 - where are my Mobile Apps?

Samsung Note9 synced fine but only one mobile app shown - FordPass - No additional apps found.

Any ideas?

the additional apps only turn up when you connect via cable and it goes to "android auto" mode or whatever the apple version is if you use one of those.

Anyone else finding Waze buggy on Android Auto? For example, will suddenly lose the directions and reset

Definitely something to do with Sync 3 as tried it on another car with Android Auto and worked fine.

Also make sure you are up to date with the latest Sync3 version (18025) and V7 maps - all available from the Ford website

I get Radioplayer as well as Ford Pass when connected via Bluetooth. Apparently Spotify used to show up as well but that was stopped after an update to Spotify a few months back.

As for Waze on Android Auto, I've had it reset on me a couple of times but it's fine 99% of the time

Thanks yes I'm up to date, remember doing the install about 6 months ago.

So no one else getting a buggy Waze experience on Android Auto?

couldn't say don't use it never even connect my phone to the car anyway.

Waze didn't work with my S7 edge, the location wouldn't update. Since I changed phone though it works fine, but I still prefer google maps

Updated sync3 software via Wifi

Android Auto seems fine with cable connected for Spotify, Google, Waze

AppsLink should work via Bluetooth on Android phones but the only app I get is FordPass

May be getting all the benefits of Waze on Google Maps, never understood why they had not done it earlier as both Google

Reset on me once, and took us around 20miles out of our way, was not that impressed. So when we go to France next week, Steph is going to have google maps on her phone, just in case :-(, Android Auto, is very good, you get Podcast Addict and Audible, suits me Sir :-)

I use the built in Sync3 Nav in France and it works a treat including the traffic related functions

Yes it's a pain when resets, although it's not taken me out my way yet. My other half sometimes does the same on long journeys.
