Looking to run new wires for my speakers, and i have been hearing if you replace the front speakers you lose sync sounds. Has anyone found a way to get passed this?

Plans
aftermarket speakers
aftermarket amplifier
and lcq 1

Just don't tap off the rear speakers for the amp signal and you will be fine.

There is a sticky in the top of this section that has everything you need to know.

what wattage of speakers are you wanting to run to justify needing to add an aftermarket amp?

Seeing how everyone that has replaced their speakers state it sounds 100x's better but still no bass, I rather run my speaker wires to my lcq 1 to an aftermarket amp then to the doors and rear. I like the bass in my 14 premium and still wanted a little more. This base 15 is a total let down when it comes to sound.

Are you saying I wouldn't need to run new wires? Just cut in for the lcq before and after the stock amp?

if there's no major increase in wattage, I don't see a reason to replace the wiring. I've put aftermarket speakers in a TON of cars, and never once had to upgrade wiring. Just seems like a bunch of extra work, imo.

Good luck running new wires to the doors.

That was my plan, and I had to abort it mid install. The harness going into the doors has a bulkhead connector on the car side and it did not exactly seem easy to pass new wires thru that.
