Sync acting wierd

For the past few weeks the Ford Sync system on the bullitt keeps stalling.
When I start the car, it lights up fine...but then within 30 secs the screen is frozen.
I have to reset by pressing the power and the forward button. After reset it works fine for the ride.
Next time..same nonsense.

Is this a software or a hardware issue.

Have you tried doing a master reset? The power/forward is a “soft” reset. The MR is a ”hard” reset.

How do I do that?

I was also wondering if there might be a software update pending. Need to connect to Wi-Fi and update it, if it’s applicable.

Latest version is 3.4 Build # 21194

To check to see what yours is go to settings, about sync.
