So I typically use CarPlay so I don’t ever really use the touch sync side of the touch screen but today I was noticing that when I would touch “audio” or any of the other icons there was a pretty lengthy delay. I’d say like 5 seconds or so. Anyone else run into this? Maybe like a hard restart to the system?

If I’m not mistaken someone had a similar issue on an F150 and they had the module replaced. You can try a hard reset but I don’t think that will do you any good.

What do you consider a soft rest? just unhooking the negative battery terminal?

curious because i have posted before about a total audio failure on here before. all sound dead and when you turn the volume knob or on the steering wheel all you see a zero in the screen for volume

Soft reset is done while car is in aux mode by holding in the power button and the forward seek button at the same time for like 5 seconds. The system will reset but you won’t lose any of ur presets, phone connections, etc.
