Sync 3, Pandora and Android Notifications

Ever since having Pandora linked with Sync 3 I have been plagued with notifications on my phone about Pandora trying to make Sync connections.

I turned those notifications off but now I'm getting frequent notifications from Android that Pandora is using battery. Although the battery usage doesn't seem significant enough to warrant how often it is notifying me.

I'll see if I can disable those notifications too but has anyone else seen issues like this after linking apps to Sync?
