I get that it's new and there are few apps that use it. I won't be getting my car for 6-12 months and I listed to music and use the GPS/Maps/waze every day. I can run it from my phone but with a new car I expect to be able to have it all integrated.Android Auto is cool but the apps for it are very, very limited at this time. Waze will support it but who knows when. I don't bother using it unless I'm using Maps.
Yeah, that's what I thought.yours:

By the time you get your car you should be all set. Already supports Maps and GPS. Waze is the missing piece but it was announced that they will support AA (Not surprising since they are now owned by Google) and that is a critical application for me.I get that it's new and there are few apps that use it. Thanks Cara. Any word on the Sync update yet?Tank,
Unfortunately, we haven't been informed of the hardware details yet. You could try your local dealer and see if they have any info since they're the ones installing it. Make your voice heard regarding the CarPlay update at http:social.ford.com
