So I ran autocross a couple weeks ago for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. I wasn't really competitive, but I wasn't near last either. One thing I noticed was the car understeered a lot into corners.

First, I need to upgrade the driver. I'm carrying too much speed into the corners, and am not smooth at all. I need to figure out when to brake, and how hard to get on them. That'll take some practice.

Right now, my car is base with the 051A 235/50-R18 Goodyears. Obviously I need better tires, but I want to wear the tread off these first.

I'd like to improve this on a budget, so a set of wheels and tires is a bit much for now. I did see a set down in south Florida in the classified for $925, but that's about 5 hours each way. I'll keep looking for something to pop up in Northeast Florida.

I will get an alignment with more negative camber up-front.

I want to stay in FS for now, so springs and such are out. But I can change 1 sway bar, and would like to upgrade the rear. But, it looks like all the measurements for sway bars are comparing them to the PP bars.

I want an adjustable bar, but one that isn't going to be way too stiff for this car. It seems that the Steeda bars are stiffer than the others out there. Is this correct? Will adding just a Steeda rear be too much for this setup?

I know this is an autoX based question, but I need this to be a good setup for my DD, so I figured the suspension forum would be a better place to ask.

Yeah that Strano bar is pretty good and pairs well with having a bit more front camber.

I still have staggered tires from the factory GT PP (275 rear, 255 front) but no understeer issues with the above two mods. Honestly without super sticky tires and aggressive shocks, Im running that milder Strano bar on the softest setting. Tried medium, found it too stiff for the rest of the car. I cant even imagine using a stiffer bar like the Steeda and BMR. Those are probably best done in paired sets.

So not like I'm picking on you, but doesn't the GT350 steering wheel put you out of F-Street ?
