I'm definitely interested in the 50th Anniversary grill also and I noticed the high price also. I'm going up to see my dealer Tues or Wed to find out what they know, ( 180 miles away! ) Plus I'm going to take a few pix of the grill area with the hood up and from the front of course. Yes, it is hard to read the graphics a little bit. I just think it's a better look than the grill that comes the others GT's. I'm also looking for a set take off's from a 50th Anniversary package, to me a better looking wheel.

So this happened today! Bought the grille through my local dealership's parts department. Having friends there really helps! You must remove the bumper to install but the removal process is pretty straight forward. Follow Mishimoto's video to installing their oil cooler for bumper removal. There was one big omission from the video that you need to be aware of. On either side where the bumper meets the fender there is a 7mm bolt that must be removed in order to remove the bumper. This bolt is behind the splash shield which makes it a bit tricky to remove but not impossible. Other then that their video is pretty spot on. Pictures of the install below.

Nice! Mind sharing how much it set you back and/or the exact part number?

I can't say exactly how much it cost for obvious reasons.. What I can say is that it I did not pay list price for it. The full part number for the grille I ordered is below.

Full Part Number: FR3Z-8200-DA

It is amazing just how much this grille changes the front of the car. I was not expecting it to look THIS good. If anyone is considering this... It is well worth it!

Looks great! I really want a grill without the running horse and just the smaller tri-bar on the drivers side. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more aftermarket grilles coming out as it's such a big part of this car and was always a pretty popular mod on the previous ones

Its still early. I'm sure the aftermarket will be flooded son enough.
