1007c is a 19x8.5 wheel costing $1,129 each

although there are multiples of each part number so it's really hard to tell what is what.
Seriously doubt the GT350 ends up with any wheels that are 8.5 wide.

Or Ford being the only manufacturer besides Konigsegg to install carbon fiber wheels on a production vehicle.

You never know. It may explain why Ford covered the wheels of some of their GT350 prototypes.

They drove that car for about a year with the wheels uncovered. Also that same car was spotted at an airport with the wheels uncovered as well.

CF probably just means something else, I was only making an observation. It does not say Carbon Fiber.

Man, that one car has definitely done the rounds! :p

In all seriousness, the wheels affixed to the Mustang at the airport were only one of two listed on Ford's parts website; those are presumably of the 19x10.5 f / 19x11 r variety. The other wheels -- the seven-spoke ones pictured next to the rendering of the wheel found on the mule at the airport -- are unaccounted for and could be the "CF" 19x11 f / 19x11.5 rears.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm not ruling anything out, either. If "CF" doesn't stand for carbon fiber, what does it stand for? I can't find that designation on any other wheel on Ford's parts web site.

How about Cast-Rotary Forged? A lot lighter and stronger than cast and a lot cheaper than carbon fiber.

Seems possible. Either way it looks like some weight savings in the pipeline hopefully.

Prices are listed for most of these parts now. So who here has money to burn in the name of research? :)

A set of 4 Carbon Fiber Wheels from Carbon Revolution runs $15,700. So I don't think CF means Carbon Fiber in the Ford Parts Catalog. You can buy a set of 4 cast/rotary forged flow form wheels for about $1,600 from Forgestar and less from TSW.
