SVE R350 wheels

I thought about this shortly after I posted my message. I'm an idiot. I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier! I'm sure I would've noticed if I had the center caps when I installed the wheels, but they didn't show up until later in the day.

Or you can use a small pick and peeled the metal top that holds on the plastic body of the hubcap by double side tape and then just pull the plastic out with your finger.

Well, last night, I finished adjusting the sway bars (stiffening) threw the new SVE R350 19X10 wheels and 285/35 tires on and *&^%, my rear sub frame is out of alignment. Drivers side rear is poking a good 1/4 inch (camber 1.6) and passenger side rear is well tucked (camber 1.7). I have the Steeda sub-frame alignment inserts, but I guess they don't completely eliminate it all and require manual adjustment. Going back up on jack-stands tonight to see If I can get it moved over.

Just spoke to Steeda, they said that if I have their alignment dowels in there, then there is no way my sub frame can be misaligned, and yet my rear end is all out of whack, so not sure what to do. I am still inclined to check it and see if it can be moved at all. I read elsewhere on the forum that this problem existed and the individual adjusted with the dowels in place. Any thoughts?

I just realized that I have the same problem, a visible difference. Since I was planning polyurethane bushings anyway, I am relatively calm, plus now I have justification in case my wife wonders why do we need to spend more money on the mustang

So i was in the process, that night, of getting at the sub frame to try and adjust it, when I discovered my drivers side Steeda camber arm jam nuts had backed out and the adjuster was way out, looked at the other side and it was much shorter (screwed into both ends more), so I set it close to the passenger side and all nice and tucked (well not quite, its not perfect but a proper alignment will fix it). I must have had positive or close to positive camber on that tire. Now I need to figure out how to lock down those jam nuts better once I do get a proper alignment (blue Loctite isn't cutting it)...zip ties?

I'm really wondering, has anyone has tried 265/40/19 on the 19x10 rims?

They should fit with a slight stretch, but I have yet to find anyone that has done it.

Which Coopers? I heard some of the cheaper ones are made in China now. Not sure I trust Chinese tires.

What I really want to know, is what the difference in the ride quality is like when going from the stock 235's to 285/35/19 on the R350's for daily driving.

Anyone with some insight on that, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Like, how rough is the ride? Is there any noticeable tracking on well traveled highways, etc?

I went with the 285/325 Cooper set up. I only took it out for a few miles yesterday so no real insight. Initial reactions were the ride was not affected negatively and it seemed to hook up better. Maybe my imagination but I could feel the 18 pound difference.

Please ignore the car, it's dirty AF.
