Managed to check a curb backing into a space tonight. Nothing major, just a very small scuff. Anyone know of a paint to match the black SVE 350 rims for a small touchup?

Subscribed. I'm in the same boat, although I need to touch up two wheels. Hit second right over a patch of diesel fuel a few weeks ago. Hello curb.

Black is a very forgiving color. With a small scuff sand it to smooth out roughness, depending on the sheen of your paint selecting from gloss, satin or flat can give you a very close match. Assuming this is along the wheel lip, mask off the wheel center but not the lip/edge and touch up, feathering the edges. For a flat/matte finish you likely don’t need to do anything else. For the finished with any sheen you may get an even better blend by polishing the transitions. It may not be 100% but generally black can and does come out very well. For some of the best results and paint quality I’ve always liked Rustoleum or Krylon.

Thanks. The finish is a gloss finish and it is just on the lip. I will give it a go this weekend.

I'll post up pics before and after. Looking at it today in the light, it is a little bit worse than I thought. I guess I was hoping it was not that bad when I looked at it. It's not so little. LOL.

Paint match went afoul. The gash was deeper than I thought but I think had the paint matched better, it would look 100% better. It's ok but not going to cut it. Good for now but I see a rim repair by the pros coming up.
