Suspension Installation Bay Area

Hi,

I'm upgrading the stock suspension on my GT PP with some Steeda springs, front & rear sway bars and rear control arm bearings. I'm looking for recommendations for where to go for installation in the Bay Area (preferably South Bay or East Bay) from those who have had similar work done with good results.

I took my car to San Carlos Auto Performance, Inc. Had them install every Steeda suspension upgrade on the car; it took about a day and a half. Great people over there who know what they're doing, I feel like they were a bit more expensive than other places but the service was top notch and worth the price.

They were even nice enough to document the whole process with pictures for me.

If you're close to South Bay area i recommend my buddy shop. Look up EFI POWERHOUSE in San Jose. Ask for Rich and tell him Rio sent you. Ive sent a lot of guys from this forum to his shop pricing and workmanship top notch. Hope this works. Good luck

Just got this done yesterday.



Very happy with the results and the shop that did it. I'm definitely going back and would highly reccommend them to anyone in the northbay.

What did Cortex charge for the installation?

2morrow, thanks for sharing your experience with Cortex. Do they offer routine maintenance and performance parts installation besides suspension and fabrication? I'm not a wrencher, so I'm looking for a dependable and knowledgeable shop to do any performance upgrades for me.

CRUM178, they definitely do performance upgrades. I'm not too sure about routine maintenance though.

When talking to the owner I had a very similar mindset as you(wanting an experienced go to shop). Give them a call and let them know what you want to do. They're very reasonable.
