That is the problem/reality with FI. That $5995 beefcake looks great, but in reality it turns into easy 2-3k more once all said and done. Most of the FI projects end up selling or parting their stangs out in 1-2 years. Lol.

I may just play around with a 100-150 shot on a progressive controller on A10 and see just how much more power I need than that. I believe I can have just as much fun on 2k versus 8-9k spent.

I don't see what's wrong with wanting a 600-700 hp car with a warranty. I did. The only problem is that you'll find the tune too conservative. I found my car underwhelming with the Roush kit until I went with a Lund tune. The car ran 11.7 @ 123 until the tune. It now runs a 10.8 @ 128 and 155-160 in the 1/2. Roush was great about there warranty. They had an issue with their tune at first and shipped my car to Michigan to fix it. They even flew me up there to verify the fix before shipping the car back. They fixed everything and I drove the car for about 5000 miles before I needed more. I got the Lund tune with an nGauge from Beefcake. I am now at almost 40,000 miles with no powertrain issues. My a/c was fixed by Ford under factory warranty, my battery was replaced, my hood was replaced, etc. I daily my car and drive hard. My drag radials get about 6000 miles before I need to replace them....
