100 shot N20 without nitrous tune?

Is is safe to run a 100 shot on a Lund 91 tune to be exact. I want to run a small shot but not sacrifice power by uploading a nitrous type tune. Thoughts?

There are ways.

But you need a separate fuel system to run higher octane fuel that sprays with the nitrous.

No need for a separate fuel system IMO, just put race gas in the tank when running the nitrous.

I run nitrous in my 95 race car. You'll want to run colder plugs and race gas at the very least. But honestly your playing with fire expecting your PCM to handle everything you'd be throwing at it on the spray.

Based on my experience running nitrous, most nitrous company's recommend around -4 degrees timing and stock plugs for a 100 shot. Anything over that and they want colder plugs. I do not recommend doing this but I have run as much as a 175 shot on stock tune and stock plugs on previous Mustangs without issues. Granted that is with lower compression motors. I would contact Lund and follow his recommendations as its his tune on the car.

first, 100 shot is not that much to go overboard with separate fuel systems, etc.
second, running race gas does not negate the need to pull timing for nitrous.
third, you pull timing under the assumption your current spark is already set to MBT, which is probably isn't.
