Seems this GT has a boost gauge installed. First I thought they just threw a pic of the i4 cars interior in there, but after further investigation I noticed its different from the gauge on the i4. the one on the i4 goes up to 30 psi, while the GT's only goes to 15. Hmmm...

Could be a GT mule with the new SVT/Shelby drivetrain so they can road test the car without revealing the final design.

More likely just a vacuum gauge for the GT. Perhaps the same gauge is used on the GT500 or GT350 and will be supercharged.

I doubt that honestly. Nothing says ricer more than putting in a "fake" boost gauge.

This crossed my mind.

No way they put a boost gauge on a N/A car. that would be so cheesy. Also we have already seen the PP GT that was revealed in LA had a vac gauge on it(no boost side).

Then why have a vacuum side on a boosted motor?

Not sure what you mean. supercharged cars operate in vacuum, but N/A cars don't operate in boost.

I swear I have seen a picture of a gauge with VAC only. That would imply that something is boosted under the hood!

You did. On the GT that was revealed in LA. That's why I'm thinking it could be a option for the GT. Imagine a 550hp GT with a warranty!:hail::ford:
