Truth is unless you have drag radial you won't feel it pull any harder in first or second supercharged because of wheel spin. In fact if you like first and second gear pulls then stock will likely pull harder with street tires. Now once you get out of second and hook in third it's a whole different world supercharged...no you won't have the same G force hit you get in first, but you will be flying at insane speeds in seconds.

Aftermarket turbo installs tend to be quiet expensive.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Now I keep hearing alot more people supercharging over adding a turbo or twin turbos . What would you guys say

Feels downright terrifying to my passengers, in any gear, I'm told.

I agree 100%... Didn't realize how hard she pulled until I let someone else drive her
True...passenger effect is a real thing, if you think your cars power is getting boring take ride in the passenger seat.

I've got a Whipple stage 2 in the garage which I will install in June when I'm on vacation. I went with the supercharger route for two reasons, the first being it's California emissions legal, I don't know of any turbo system that is. The second reason is that the supercharger method has boost down low, unlike a turbo that has to spool up.

I came from owning a 2018 Ford Fiesta ST, stock the torque peak was 3,300 rpms and whp was 160ish. I went to a hybrid turbo and got 298 whp and 300ish torque like a stock turbo which was great. I then went big turbo, Garrett GTX2860R Gen II turbo and got 330ish whp, but the torque peak was at 4,300 rpms.

I used to be on the Turbo wagon also,. I did research and drove a roots style and a twin turbo set up. Let me say this.
twin turbo. Absolute monster. I loved the car. I think the wheel power was around 740 something and change at the tire. Torque was around a 530-540 range. I think (numbers might be off). You could roll into it and it was stupid fast. ON STREET TIRES. I really suggest taking it easy.
roots style one I drove. I smiled, That thing just incinerated tires from a stoplight if you wanted to. Performance pack car like mine. 3.73 gears mated to a mt82 trans. I had move fun. I Loved the immediate power and sound.,

It's like comparing a rocket to a golf cart lol. Night and day difference.

Unless your on drag radials 1st and 2nd become useless, 3rd and 4th pull harder than you can imagine. If your cruising at highway speeds and punch it your at triple digits in seconds.

Its always up for personal opinion and theres pro and cons to both. Turbos are great when your trying to make huge power numbers but come with higher cost, complexity and harder installation. I chose a supercharger because I didnt feel the benefits of turbo outweighed the cons and the extra cost/complexity for my power level when a blower could do the same thing. I also love the centrifugal blowers feeling of infinite power pulling to redline.

I would compare the power curves of each type of FI and see what you like best.
