OK, stupid sanity check question right quick...you guys don't put locktite on spacer nuts do you? Just torque them and treat them like you would the lug nut on the wheel, right?? I know the answer (or I know what I'm going to do), just double checking.

I don't think locktite is a bad idea, just never use high strength. The problem with using locktite though is you still need to check them a couple times after install. The mere act of checking means shattering the locktite. So IF you still want to use locktite, do so AFTER checking the second time (and confirming they are holding) with the wicking (29001 med strength green) variety.

No locktite. Not at all a good idea. I have run with bolt on spacer for may years, on all types of veh. and have never had a failure, but one rule I do have and that is I consider the lug nuts a one time use. The lug nuts used on most if not all spacers are thin walled and when to apply the proper torque it will deform the wall of the lug nut. With that said, they are cheap so always keep a spare set and when you use them pick up another set so you wont be tempted to reuse them due to inconvenience. And for God sakes torque them in the correct seq.both going on as well as taking them off. and use the oem torque value

THIS is what I thought and what I planned on doing. However, didn’t think about extra nuts for the spacer. Where can you grab those from?

I have gotten them from autozone and Americas tire. But when I got my last buy I bought 4 sets from tirerack, just because I needed to redo the rotors on another one of my cars that has spacers
