I've seen some under-hood pictures of the GT that show it having a strut bar that goes over the intake manifold, but in others it's not there. Does anyone know if the GT comes standard with this or is part of the performance package? If it's part of the PP, I should be able to add one after market... right?

The strut bar is part of the PP. Ford Racing has one in their catalog.

My motto has always been that if your Mustang is bigger than a breadbox, a strut tower brace will do wonders for it. Guess I'll be needing to pop for one aftermarket. I want to see what Steeda and MM come up with before I buy Ford Racing, though.

STB will probably be one of the first products we develop for this car.

I am excited to see what we can do with the available space, and hopefully we can tie into the firewall (3pt brace)

I'd be curious to know how much it would stiffen above the PP version, not just compared to base. Hopefully that's part of the spec sheet.
