While I know it boils down to personal preference, I can't seem to decide what I want. I'm leaning towards a Magnetic R. On that color, I like the subdued look of black stripes. But I struggle with the hassle of PPF with matte stripes. I also imagine the hassle of keeping all those edges free of dirt and wax residue. Finally, durability is a concern as I intend to keep the car several years. The other option I'm considering is the black roof instead of stripes. I like the stealthy looks of that combo.

Anybody have any regrets of going one way or the other?

I agree go with the stripes but I think they should stand out and I think white is the way to go with the Magnetic red

I'm still torn, I just went from a AG/BS car to a solid Ruby Red one. I think some of the colors look better with stripes and some without. Both look great. The one thing I do like about not having stripes is it is one less thing to worry about maintaining the exterior of the car.

In honesty; if it were buying again id go without stripes. Aftermarket are cheaper and you have more choices

It was close for me, but I went stripeless and happy with choice. Car looks anything but "ordinary". Looks lower and wider without IMO...

A friend of mine has an order for Mag with a black roof and no stripes - that'll look wicked.

Although not as wicked as this........

depends colors like white, AG, LT BLUE, SILVER can get lost and stripes give it attention. Yellow, red, ruby get attention on there own

IMO, if you go with solid Magnetic, it looks really bland.

If I had to do it again, I would go with pure Mag, and get the stripes aftermarket only because I wanted to get a CF hood and CF trunk(blends in with Magnetic). Found out the replacement OEM stripes were $800+ just for the hood and trunk pieces.

Much prefer the clean look of stripeless. Only way I would do stripes is if they were painted on, no way I'm putting vinyl stickers on a gorgeous car. Might as well throw some bumper stickers on the back.
