ShadowBlackR I had the front clip, full hood, full fenders and full doors done. He used the precut kit on everything but the hood. He did a custom on the hood since we went over the stripes.

Thanks Zombiekiller. It is the same installer and he was leaning towards Suntek but asked me which one I prefer.
If you're worried about a different in appearance of the stripes on the car, I'd also have him wrap the decklid too.

The aero on the car is such that you may get a chip or two on the decklid if you encounter high speeds and random road debris....

ask me how i know. :)

Never thought about that. And I will not ask you how as I hate to bring up touchy subjects...

I honestly would never had thought to put wrap there. I'm leaning towards Suntek now and am looking forward to it having a little more sheen to it. Thanks for your help.

For you clear bra experts, which brand would be better for DIB? Suntek or XPel?

Suntek. I was going to do X-pel but every installer I talked with recommended Suntek which is what I used. I was told that X-pel seems to have poor customer service with warranty work and after doing a little internet research, that seemed to be the case.

If you are in the Dallas area, I used Invisibra in Carrollton. I had the complete hood, front end and mirrors done for $1100 plus tax. Ask for Brian. I'll probably have the trunk stripes and over-the-top stripes done next. These blue stripes get swirl marks just looking at them.

I appreciate it GT 350. I did decide to go with Suntek and have already been talking with a local installer recommended by fellow members of this forum.

. Since we been doing XPEL and Suntek I like working with Suntek over XPEL it's has a better finish and a better top coat but for you guys looking to a clear bra done check out Hexus brand from Europe they are here in North America now out of BC most staff from XPEL Montreal got the Canada USA franchise been working with the product for a week now and it's great same product they use from there vinyl wrap but no colour.

I just put Cquartz over my Suntek Sunday. Holy crap it turned out great. I was so worn out I forgot to take pictures.

I drove it to work today and it has a bit of dust on it and I have to wait till tomorrow before getting it wet. Soon as I can get it cleaned up again I will try to put some before with the Suntek only and after with the Cquartz.

Xpel , as was said , is a bit thicker. on lighter paint colors, you can see the seams and it gives more of an orange peel effect.

On black cars, especially if you are doing some sort of nanotech coating on top, it looks wonderful and you can't tell it is on there until you are right on it.
Hey Zombie, My magnetic with black stripes should be here in about a month. Which product should I go with, and what place did you use in Nola. Thx
