I have replaced wipers with quality ones. Buffed the streaks using 0000 steel wool. The still come back. Only where wipers change direction

Try magic erasers with an ammonia based glass cleaner.
The new "ceramic" glass cleaners are trash, leaves all kinds of streaks and haze on the glass.

+1 on the magic earasers. I'm plagued with all sorts of wipe marks that I see pop up after i'm done with my wash. Magic erasers seem to be efficient a de-greasing the surface. Then follow up with a glass polish, IPA wipedown and glass sealant.
