Hello All,

So after driving my new 2016 ecoboost (auto) for 1k miles I noticed that when I shift into drive after going in reverse it takes about 3 seconds before I can start actually driving because its still switching gears? I cant really explain it but even my 99 honda wouldnt do such strange things, I could instantly gas it after putting it into drive after being in reverse. Maybe its a Ford transmission thing.. It has no mods btw

Hello again,

Not sure if anyone was curious or not but as a future reference for anyone else who encounters this issue... Took it to the Ford Dealership and they confirmed my suspicions. There was a "software update" available, that re-calibrated something... if you are curious what it was just reply and I will get full description of service posted.

Even after the "software update" I felt a strange kick (not quite the same as before) but after driving around and shifting from R to D(S) it feels fine now :D
