Strange sound from stock BOV

It sounds like the BOV is operating normally based on the release in your video. There isn't anything I can see that would be telling the BPV to close or reset at low rpm like that with minimal air velocity. Sounds like a weird quirk these cars have.

I've noticed some different noises from my BPV lately. Also the constant operation of the stock BPV is getting annoying. I just ordered the TurboSmart Kompact BOV from MAPerformance to eliminate the whole issue.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the stock BPV is annoying. If I personally daily drive an Ecoboost Mustang the first thing I would do is upgrade to our charge pipes to go with a 100% mechanical BOV!

The GT350 CAI that Ford Provides in the Ecoboost Tune has an open filter type design that will allow more noise to be heard. If you feel its not performing properly you should take it back to the dealer. you can also install the stock intake back on the car to make it stock quiet again.

Lol, yah that goes without saying. However I find it a bit strange that the noise I can hear now when blipping the throttle at idle was really there the whole time.....it is VERY noticeable, almost a "bassy" thud when it actuates.

Mine does it too.. but not as loud I'd say.. I first noticed it when I put the MMR CAI on, there is a sound like something closing sometime after the revs go down. I thought it was normal.. don't really have any issues with my car other than insanely bad mpg's and slower than advertised 0-60.. otherwise runs great.
