Question for the guys with lots of experience in turbos... Adam feel free to chime in...

I have heard 3 distinctly different turbo blow off valve noises... I have no idea how and what factors play into the noise...

First is the flutter... The "fun-fuh-fuh" sound....
Second is the "POOSH" sound ours makes when you take the hose off...
Third, and he most difficult to explain... Is the high pitched "PEW" sound... They are real high pitched... I wish I could find a video but a friend of mine had an eclipse that made that sound...
What contributes to each different sound?

I'm looking for the real high pitched noise... If anyone can explain to me how to achieve that, or if it's possible or just luck of the draw.

Edit: here is a video of the noise
Was going to send a link to that very video and ask if the greddy type s was the high pitched sound you were referring to. I have been looking for the same sound as well for when I go aftermarket BOV!

Does anybody have any information regarding the quality of the Greddy Type S? Are they prone to wearing out faster and causing leaks/surge over time or anything like that?
