preheader almost idential to 6500 rpms. 6500+ the pmas made 4more. post header, for some reason pmas kept pulling timing, locked and unlocked timing tunes, not sure why, so the jlt made a couple more, but also had 4 more degrees of timing, IMO, pick which you want and run with it,
This was a FB post Beefcake made on a thread that was about the test.

Ken Bjonnes at Palm Beach Dyno is suppose to do a test soon too....and actually have it streaming Live on his FB page. That would be cool to see.

Wonder if Beef dynoed the PMAS with or without the heat sheild being attached to the stock snorkle in the grill. I remember reading PMAS saying that the stock snorkle is a restriction and the heat shield should just be run with the hole in the front open and not attached. Not sure I believe its a restriction but thats what they said?

Here is the information I can provide. This was my vehicle we tested. Stock average after 3 pulls: 367RWHP

Lund Tune and Stock Intake: 381RWHP

Lund Tune and JLT Intake 387 RWHP

Lund Tune and PMAS Intake 391 RWHP

Details are the JLT had more HP down Low 4-6 until 4000 RPM.
JLT and PMAS were Identical 4000-6500 RPM. After 6500 PMAS gained 4 RWHP.

Next was ARH Full exhaust to include their longtubes.
The PMAS had a best RWHP of 418RWHP without locked timing.
The JLT had a best of 424RWHP. When the timing was locked the PMAS put down only 409RWHP but for some reason saw 2 degrees less timing than the JLT.

At this point I optioned for the JLT. We cooled the car down and made the final pull with the JLT and it put 430RWHP and 397TQ.

Hope this helps some..... I'm sure Beefcake will post up a more detailed response, as he has all the datalogs.

I would like to thank Beefcake and Finishline Performance for all their efforts put forth in this.

Feel free to comment on the numbers.

Those was the best pulls of each. All pulls of each was within 1-2 hp. One set was all the same number. This was making the first pull, slowing down the rollers, making another pull, slowing down the rollers and making the final pull. No cool down. The first pull was straight off the street. Then we averaged the 3 pulls.

Very cool!

Thanks for making it happen, and I am not surprised one bit by the results.

Enjoy! 430+whp FTW!

Roughly 5whp and 5wrtq more on the Pmas but pretty close overall.

I will let you know without exhaust, the 365TQ on the JLT was different than the other two pulls with it. The other two had .XX lower HP, but 370 TQ.........

I have no clue why the most HP run was 5 ft lbs lower.

It's actually 3.7 @Terminator2

But he doesnt have that 387/391 combo....he has LT / exhaust now and he states the JLT made more both locked and unlocked timing.

Just clarifying. ;)
