My son purchased a 2018 GT last year that was lowered. The tires rubbed a bit and we have decided to have the stock springs (provided by original owner) put back in. The shop we are using called and said we had two left side rear springs and we needed to get a right rear. Is there really a difference? My wife called a Ford dealership and service said there is a right and a left, but the parts department said they are the same part number. Is it possible the car originally had both rear springs marked as left and is fine, or something else? Confused.

If its a magnaride car they’re different. If its a non magnaride car they are both the same spring.

or at least thats how it used to be.

Thank you both! I know the car is a PP1 but I don’t think it has mag ride, which explains the springs that supposedly came with it. Going to pull the wheel and check for sure. Thanks again.
