Read a couple times in this forum guys are commenting that the stock coyote engine will handle up to 900hp. This seems extreme for a stock engine if you ask me. Could we see what your HP/TQ numbers are STOCK blocks only and how many miles.

So the forged Sinter connecting rods are not any good? I thought the pistons were the weak link of the rotating assembly? :shrug: Interested in that short block.The weak link is the connecting rods, after that it is the pistons, like most, we would place a safe limit of about 650 if properly tuned. Also, as many other have also noted the MMR OPG and Crank Gear is HIGHLY Recommended!! Let us know if we can help, we have forged shortblocks starting at $4799 that will take the reliability limit up to 900 RWHP and have shortblocks that go as high as 3500HP!

Most conservative estimate place the overall long block reliability
at ~600-650 RWHP (750 crank)

I think we can all agree that 900 RWHP for a stock block is A LOT.Seems a stretch because of the 1000's of failures of the OPG/CSS that we've seen? Because there are 1000's of FI coyotes with no OPG/CSS issues. Do they fail sometimes? Sure. But so do lots of things. I've seen two on this site.
