Agreed. The least confidence inspiring thing on the GT is the tires. The are not that good. The predictability of the tires suck too. They don't moan at the limit, they just break free. Throw some pss on them and the confidence level rises.

^^ Cofidence come with predictability of the car you are driving...With a properly set up AWD car you can take turns with more confidence than a RWD car at a novice level...But building that confidence in a RWD car takes a lot on the type of car.

If you watch Randy's of Motor Trend head to head...you will get what I'm talking about.

This is totally the case for me. I've always been a big fan of subaru, and have always wanted one. I was ready for a change though, as I've always owned a car with a small motor and FWD. I wanted a completely different driving experience, an STI from what I understand handles pretty similar to FWD just with tons of grip with throttle through a corner for obvious reasons. I know this is a very crude generalization, but for all intents and purposes FWD and AWD generally "push" as a part of their design. I was tired of that.

Large NA rwd power for me please. Although, RWD was the more important factor to me. I also have very minimal experience with it beyond a few karting escapades and my truck lol. It is quite the learning curve.

agree on the tires, I totally look forward to getting better tires.

Not just the tires. IMO the wheels are also too narrow. The car deserves more rubber under it.
