Thanks All.. It was actually really easy to do. Just need to finish up the steering wheel trim. Pleased with the outcome.

Once you pop the airbag off, are the (3) silver trip pieces just held in with a screw or clip? Id like to have mine wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl asap

The question is how do you remove the air bag? In the previous gen that was a walk in the park. I cant seem to figure this one out however on the S550.

Looks great! I'm interested as well. Maybe black in the steering wheel trim for me. Did you wrap? Or paint? Or what did you use?

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate all the kind words. Yes, I performed all the work by myself. I'm very particular about who works on my car so I tend to tackle any task alone therefore I know it was done right and to my liking. This project was fairly simple with the most complex part being removing all the trim pieces which in itself wasn't complicated at all. While I'm experienced with spray paint I knew I didn't want this to be permanent as I'm always switching things up with my vehicles. That being said I opted to use RUSTOLEUM PEEL COAT (Matte Red). This product I have to say is amazing for interior projects like so. It goes on smooth like paint and is very forgiving if indeed you mistakenly spray heavily. Very similar to PLASTI DIP however in my opinion much more advanced. I'm glad you guys liked the outcome. Hopefully I inspired some of you all to start a task of your own. Until next time!!!! PEACE...

Dude, you are a genius !
that being said, if you will be willing to help n00bs like us and white down a project plan, meaning a guide on how to do this properly with link to what tools u used etc.
So we can do this ourselves,
you will win 500 bonus points from the "good people association"
Plus extra 50+- "thanks" on this thread for ego boost.

Pretty please :)
