I plan to send out my silver steering wheel trim to be overlaid in CF and I'd rather not buy an extra set and be stuck with my stock ones after as well as spend the extra money.

Silly question but am I ok to just take out the 3 silver trim pieces and left+right controls and drive without that?

I don't see why it would affect the airbag or car but I want to figure out if it's ok to do so before I go and do it.

My belief is the the Airbag should be just fine.

Only the controls from the tabs will not work.

Air Bag, being a very important safety feature, woulg logivally make sense to be on its own independent circuit.

Thanks guys, logically it makes sense that it is all separate and shouldn't effect each other. I just didn't want to risk getting an air bag to the face for some insane reason once I turn the car on haha
