With the holidays right around the corner ... & that means sales will start popping up ... what a gift to put on your list to help align the subframe to the chassis!

Check out the link above to see what others are saying.

Best Regards,

Sooo.. you install this $40 kit and then have the IRS aligned? By who? Same people that do wheel alignments?
Yes, If you have any questions give Rod a call @954-960-0774.

He is at our S Florida location.

Do they install the kit and align the cradle at this location?

Yes, our Pompano Beach, FL location can handle that, with alignment & much, much, more.

We have springs/shocks & struts on sale too - could be worthwhile to get them all done a once!

Maybe I'm "underthinking" how simple this is but can't you just do one bolt/hole (bolt hole, lols...) at a time and not worry about messing with the alignment as well as making it much easier installation wise?

Will be installing these this weekend is what has my curiosity peaked.

"Over-thinking" as an engineer, I can visualize that you can look at the alignment of each pair of holes when you take out a bolt. Technically, you would have to replace that bolt and then remove each of the other 3 in succession. The more aligned the holes are now, the less likely you would need a new wheel alignment.

Imagine a pair of holes is misaligned 1/4", and then you align it perfectly during the kit install. That puts the wheel angle out even more, because of the angle amplification. (The wheel is further from the car centerline than is the cradle bolt.) So you would need an alignment. Not to the degree that your first drive should be to get the alignment, but you get the idea.

You could probably do that but from what I have been seeing some of the cars aren't aligned real well from the factory. Resetting it back to sloppy doesn't help.

Put in a set of lowering springs yesterday and decided to put in the subframe bushing support system and alignment rods while I was there. The Subframe bolts on the left side went in like normal, the right side not so much..with the alignment rods in they were off by around half an inch. I just left them out and finished tightening everything up.

Only had two jacks so I did the left side first..then the right. Do I have to put the whole car up and then loosen all four subframe bolts for the frame to line up on both sides? Can I just jack up the back of the car?
