The larger dia as you speak of in the middle will be the largest dia. I was speaking about the two ends of the front spring. The front spring has two different size openings at the ends.

I think I might just sell my front steeda progressives since I haven't done that install yet. Been driving around for the past week with just rears waiting to see if it lowers any but it seems to have leveled the car while keeping the stock front springs.

Dammit, I have these sitting in my front room waiting for install. I was going to do the install but now I'm questioning these springs period. It seems like no one (including steeda) knows how to install these springs or give a for sure NON pain in the ass installation for these. My front springs appear to have the larger diameter in the middle and a smaller diameter on both ends and the rears are one continuous diameter (progressives, part number 555-8210). I also have the race differential bushing insert kit 555-4440 sitting here waiting for better/clearer instructions from steeda, not to mention my shifter base bushing bracket is still on back order. I would just be EXTREMEMLY happy if someone, anyone could post some FOR SURE installation instructions (that are correct) before more of us, including myself get our cars torn apart and end up stuck with front springs that we cant get installed in our garage with the correct tools so I don't have to go pay some shop to much $$ to do it. Frustrating....
Based on the request of a few customers, we added this bit to the bottom of the instructions to assist with the install. I'll pm you with a bit more clarity on the diff bushing install once I hear back from one of my techs. Your shifter base bushing shipped yesterday, should have received tracking last night - it will be delivered tomorrow.

ok those pics will help, and ya I got the tracking info lastnight. I think I am going to get under the car tonight or tomorrow night and see if I can figure out the Diff bushing inserts because I REALLY want to get everything other then the springs and alignment pins installed before this weekend, then I will just do both of those at the same time over the next weekend. Thanks David.

David, that photo would have helped a lot during my install. Now, the photo you are showing disagrees with the instructions and the tech I talked to at steeda. It would helped us who had to take the struts to a dealership to have them installed.

Apologies for any confusion, again your feedback has been relayed to manufacturing and should avoid any further confusion. Thank you for your support, and if you're looking to pick up any future Steeda parts please send me a pm.

I took my front springs to the local Midas and had them swapped over for $40. It was well worth the piece of mind to have them do it vs. me messing something up.

So just to clarify, the bigger end can go up top, if it fits like in the picture?

Ok, I'll be throwing these on a friends car next time they come off, just got word that KW coilovers are coming out, and those are going on!

$40? I assume that's per spring. That's crazy cheap even if per spring/$160.

I just installed steeda sport springs and the instructions did not indicate which end went up or down so I installed them so the writing was right side up and they ride fine.
I'm looking at doing the sport instead of progressive as well I have a clearance places I will need to work around though have you noticed any bottom scraping issues from the extra lowering?

Sorry, to clarify I took in the strut/spring combo from the fronts and had them remove the factory spring and put the steedas in their place. The spring compressor I rented from advanced looked to sketchy for me to try it.

Figured I would add that the Steeda Sport Linear springs install with the writing right side up.

I'm not sure if they stamp the writing on each set in the same orientation or not.
