So I decided to go with steeda sport springs to cover up the wheel gap and to say the least I am very pleased wth the product. The shop I brought it to for the install had a few hiccups. From what I've gathered they over torqued the bolt that secures the caliper to the rotor and completely stripped it. So they are having to buy a new caliper for me but concludes with me withough a car for 3 dayz. I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to cars and working on them but does this sound bad?

He is right the calipers don't have any threads. And usually when you strip out something you only need to tap the threads and buy a new bolt. At the most you might need a helicoil.

But with that. I have seen a few stripped out threads that only a machine shop could repair. But they would have had to really strip the hell out of it.
